Choose for the building’s conditions
PVC is a thermoplastic membrane used in commercial roofing. Building use and rooftop exposure should guide system selection. For a kitchen, industrial use or unusual exhaust, ask us to verify compatibility with the actual exposure rather than relying on a general product claim.
Assess the current membrane before repair
Identify the existing material and condition, including seams, curbs and penetrations. A repair proposal should specify suitable products and preparation. Different white membranes are not automatically interchangeable, so manufacturer identification is useful when records are available.
Compare the full replacement package
The membrane works with insulation, attachment, flashing and drainage. Review those components alongside access requirements and any equipment coordination. Ask whether required accessories and perimeter work are included or listed as extra charges.
Keep warranty expectations precise
Obtain the proposed warranty documents and clarify exclusions, reporting requirements and maintenance obligations. Ask who handles workmanship issues and who handles manufacturer claims. A general statement that a roof is warranted does not describe the coverage you are buying.
